"Transformation"

This painting was created for a friend, Moraud, and came from a revelation of God's heart for him. This is an invitation for him to step in, walk through, dive into, the reality of the transformation only God can bring, through the great love that only He can give.

A Glimpse of Color...

Here are just a few things I've been working on in the last year, or years. It's been a difficult year transitioning to California from Kansas City. I thought I'd throw up a few glimpses of different things. There are so many more in the works. Eventually I'll get them up too.

This is a painting still in process that I started in 2007 in Kansas City. Some paintings take time to season, and for the right season of release. This is a good example of that.

A corner shot of a painting I ended up re-doing. I love the splash here

Here's another corner, living in the River of God!

1 “After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.”

2 Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne...

"Awakening", 48"x36" acrylic on board, 8/8/11

"Awakening"
Original Artwork
created 8/8/11
This piece was inspired by the worship music of Jonathan David Helser. I was listening to, and worshiping the Lord with, his CD called "The Awakening". I had enjoyed this many times before, and even worshiped with Jonathan's music live (which was so awesome), but this time I was touched in a new and deeper place in my heart.
The tears began to roll down, and through this music the Holy Spirit of the Living God dug deep into a place of despair I'd been experiencing for some time (due to the results of a car accident a few years ago).
I felt a river of pain, discouragement, despair, and sadness pouring out with each tear as the River of God's love and hope and life began to touch me anew. I was washed afresh with the Father's love. I listened again, worshiping my Beloved Creator... And once again the River began to flow from out of me... Awakening!
And here is a glimpse on this piece of board, the Awakening...
Behold the wind, the water, the oil, and the fire of God's immeasurable, unstoppable, undeniable, unshakable love for you and me!

"Come to the River"

"Come to the River" Genesis 2Psalm 46:4Ezekiel 47Revelation 22
TRIPTYCH (3 canvases) -12”x24, 30”x24, 12”x24”
acrylic on stretched canvas

At first I saw the Sea of Glass around the Throne of God. I had drawn it in worship early in 2010. As I began to paint it the transformation began... I painted the waters, blending color together, vibrant and majestic... I painted the girl (me, or you...) her hair flowing forth as the mighty wind from the current pushed it back (though I had not yet seen the powerful current)... and the rainbow, of sorts, that flowed out from her hair...

"Dunamis - Power of His Love"

"Dunamis"
"Power of His Love"
2008 Worship Art
original artwork
30x24" acrylic on stretched canvas

God's love came to earth in the form of a Man, Jesus. He walked among us, ate with us, laughed with us, cried with us. He taught us how to love by demonstration; discipled us in perfection; laid down His life for ours. When we touch His heart, because He has touched ours, what does that look like?

I would have to say that this painting is an expression of what He did for me the day He touched me with His love. It's just a glimpse. He touched me with a pinch of His love. He expressed it to me like this: "This is just the tip of a pin of my love for you. Its like an ice burg. What is seen is only a 10th of the ice burg. 90 percent of the ice burg is under the water. My love is so vast, so great, so powerful, that I can only pour out what's equal to the tip of a pin right now. More than that would be more than you could bear, its so powerful." So I knew that day, that though it seemed so overwhelming to me, it was just a taste of what He has for me.
As your heart is

Earthen Vessels, II Corinthians 4:6-7

"For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves"
II Corinthians 4:6-7

We are His earthen vessels, emptied as a result of the broken places in our lives... but through His mercy we are filled with His love, His beauty, and His glory...

And through the cracks and broken places in our lives His light shines forth, His power is revealed, His glory is made known, until we are transformed into the same image... and out of our belly flows rivers of living water...

"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord."
II Corinthians 3:18

"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
John 7:38

Let us be a living sacrifice for His glory today... He is the Worthy One

Broken & Spilled Out

This was a vision the Lord gave me as I sat before Him, in the prayer room at Zadok House of Prayer (ZHOP), Fort Mill, South Carolina in 2006. I painted in in 2007.
